Holland is on a sea of uncertainty—she has an MFA and hasn't written a word, she lives in the city working with her uncle's Broadway production, and she has a mad crush on some busker in the subway, taking the route whenever he plays, though she doesn't really need to battle the rush hour traffic otherwise. But when she gets into a scary situation with a random guy in the station, it is the mysterious busker that comes to the rescue. And when Holland finds out that he's Julliard trained and perfect for the changes coming in her uncle's show, it's her time to return the favor—by marrying Busker Jack, also known as Calvin.

This is one of those books where you are pretty sure everyone gets their happy ending, but there are enough twists and turns to make you keep reading, just to be sure. Holland and Calvin are well thought out characters in the heart of a big group of people who love them deeply and want to only see the best for them.

There are some points in the book where you you may want to scream at Holland. After all, she's got everything—an easy job with nepotism written all over it, a great apartment mostly paid for in one of the most expensive cities on earth, and yet the girl still can't put a few words to the page—even bad ones. But when Calvin comes along and turns her life upside down, she begins to see herself in a different light, and begins to discover she can be much more than she's let herself be. Overall, this is a fun and funny romance that will probably steal your heart—and a good chunk of your weekend.
